| Narrow Bandwidth band pass filters are required
whenever the range is less than a decade.
The use of the narrow bandwidth band pass formulas are recommended
for ranges up to two decades in width. A decade is 10 times
the lower frequency of the range of a band pass. For instance,
200 to 2000 Hz isa decade. 200 time 10 is 2000. Two decades
would be 200 to 4000 Hz. (200 times 20) |
